Stranded Knitting - Skills Workshop

Stranded knitting such a fun technique to learn and once you have it mastered can be applied to so many other projects (sweaters, hats, socks, mittens, etc). In this class we will be making a bulky weight cowl. 

This is a single 2 hour workshop The project will be started in class and can be finished at home.

Required skills: knitting and purling. Being familiar with knitting in the round is helpful but not required.

Supplies needed:

  • 2 skeins of Malabrigo bulky weight yarn, in contrasting colors, we have several options available. Please purchase your yarn for this class at YarnStormers*
  • Size US 9 and US 10 - 16" circular needles
  • Stitch markers (1 unique  marker for BOR + 10 additional markers)

* It is important that you purchase your yarn before the day of the class so that it can be caked and ready for cast-on

Participants will choose form the Starship Cowl or the Arcade Cowl

Minimum 4 students, maximum 8

In consideration of our staff, cancellations must be made at least 72 hours in advance so we can offer your seat to the next person
