Intro to Lace - Italian Summer Scarf

Don't let the name fool you, you can make this as cozy as you want for Fall/Winter. Easily adaptable to different sizes and yarns. Learn a simple lace pattern for a newly elevated Sophie style scarf.

We will meet for 2 classes, first to get started and learn the pattern. Then to troubleshoot and finish up. Participants will be required to work on their project in between classes.

Great for beginners looking to learn some new skills: I-cord edging, increasing, decreasing, simple lace pattern.

Supplies:

Yarn: (must be purchased at YarnStormers prior to the start of class) - 1 or 2 skeins of dk or worsted weight yarn, optional mohair (to hold double)

Size 6 Knitting needles (at least 24" long)

Minimum 4 students, maximum 8
